“d design travel” series is a series launched in 2009 that introduces only the things that really impressed the editorial staff after they traveled to the area as if they were living there for two months, from the perspective of “long-life design. This issue is the second in the series featuring “Toyama Prefecture.
The “long-lasting things” and “local individuality = character” that have taken root in each prefecture are selected and divided into the six categories of [sightseeing, eating and drinking, shopping, coffee shop, lodging, and people] and published as “d-mark reviews”.
The review is written in both Japanese and English.

Founded by designer Kenmei Nagaoka in 2000. Its activities, ranging from shops and galleries to publishing and workshops, are based on the theme “Long-Lasting Design,” and try to convey to consumers the characteristics of land and people in each prefecture from the design viewpoint.
