Hayao Miyazaki’s first feature film for theaters, “Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro” was released in 1979. This book is a storyboard, a blueprint for that film.

It was drawn up in about three months, including the D-part, which had to be drastically changed from the planned production plan due to the production schedule.

In addition to a commentary on the work, author Baku Yumemakura also contributed to the monthly report.
