◾️Price / Order / Payment

What currency will the payment be in?

The currency displayed is based on the country of delivery. If you feel that the currency is different, please switch the country of delivery in the shopping cart.

How is the shipping fee calculated?

It varies depending on the weight of the product and the country of delivery. Please add the desired product to the shopping cart to calculate.

※Currently, if it exceeds 10kg, the shipping fee will not be displayed. In that case, please order in multiple times.

Why is the shipping fee not displayed in the shopping cart?

If the following message appears when calculating the shipping fee in the shopping cart, we regret to inform you that we cannot ship to your country.

What payment methods are available?

You can choose from “credit card” and “Paypal”.

Will I receive an email after the order is completed?

We send a total of 4 emails:
1. Immediately after ordering
2. After payment is completed
3. After shipment
4. Contact with tracking number

If you don’t receive them, they may be in your spam folder, or they may be filtered out. If so, please contact us from the contact form.

For those who have registered as a member, you can also check from the management screen.

◾️Taxes / Duty / Customs Clearance Fee

Are taxes and duty and fees included in the price?

They are not included in the price. They may be applied in the delivery country. These costs will be borne by the customer.

[For the United States]
If the declared value (product + shipping fee) is less than $800, no additional payment is required.

[For other countries]
Many countries will incur taxes and duty and fees. As we can’t determine the amount in advance, please check with the customs website or inquiry of each country.

When are TAX, Duty, and Customs Clearance Fees collected?

In the case of FedEx and DHL, they often bill later, but occasionally they may bill in advance. International mail and EMS often bill at the time of delivery.

Will you declare my package as a “gift” or “sample” at customs?

We only declare as “Commercial”. We cannot ship as a “gift” or “sample”.

◾️Cancel / Change / Refund

Can I cancel if I ordered by mistake?

If it is within 30 minutes of your order, cancellation is possible. We will handle the cancellation process, so please contact us from the contact form.

Can I add or change the quantity of products after ordering?

Changes after receiving an order cannot be made, so we will cancel all and have you reorder. We will handle the cancellation process, so please contact us from the contact form.

What happens if the product I received is damaged?

Please contact us within 7 days of arrival. We will resend or refund. so please contact us from the contact form.

◾️Shipping

What types of shipping methods are available?

It varies depending on the destination country. It will be displayed when calculating the shipping fee in the shopping cart. Please also check the estimated arrival time there.

In what kind of packaging condition will it arrive?

[In the case of multiple books]
After carefully wrapping with bubble wrap, it will be shipped in a cardboard box.

[In the case of one book]
It is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, processed to prevent folding, and shipped in a dedicated shipping bag.

How long after ordering will the product be shipped?

It will be shipped within the same day to 4 business days. (We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.)

I want to send the product as a gift to a friend or family member. Is that possible?

The recipient may be charged taxes and fees. To prevent trouble, we only ship to the person who placed the order.

Are the items new?

Products outside the ‘Used & Outlet’ category are new. The products in the ‘Used & Outlet’ category are marked with [USED] or [OUTLET] before the product name.

What language is the book in?

Most of the books are in Japanese. Some are bilingual in Japanese and English, or multilingual. Please check the ‘Language’ field on each page for details.

Is there a difference between registering as a member and purchasing as a guest?

By registering as a member, you can check the order status on the member page. And You can save your favorite products.

This site is GDPR compliant?

Yes, we operate our site with responsibility for the privacy of our whole customers. We operate in compliance with Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information and GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation).

Why do I need GDPR consent to access or edit my account information, post a review, or use the contact form?

Thank you for using our service. To access account information or post a review, we need to verify that the person accessing it is a human, so we must use reCAPTCHA v3 provided by Google is a third party, so we use it only after obtaining the consent of users in advance in accordance with GDPR.

After agreeing to GDPR, when I tried to reset my password from the password reset email, the message “Please consent to GDPR” was displayed.

Are you using an ad blocking tools? Ad blocking tools can restrict the use of cookies or block necessary communications, making it difficult to provide normal service. And We do not distribute advertisements, so if you do not need ad blocking tool, please add our site to your whitelist. In addition, we have adjusted our site so that if you start the procedure from the receipt email within 5 minutes of requesting a password reset, it will be considered that you have agreed to GDPR and you can continue.
